<div class="paragraph" style="text-align:left;display:block;"><font size="3">"Anyone can learn CPR - -&nbsp;<u>and everyone should!</u>&nbsp;</font><br /><font size="3">Sadly, 70 percent of Americans may feel helpless to act during a cardiac emergency because they either do not know how to administer CPR or their training has significantly lapsed. This alarming statistic could hit close to home, because home is exactly where 88 percent of cardiac arrests occur.&nbsp;</font><br /><font size="3">To answer the question very simply: <em>The life you save with CPR is mostly likely to be someone you love."</em></font><br /></div>

<h2 style="text-align:left;"><font size="4" color="#ffff00"><strong><em>Everyone I know is either very young or extremely healthy. They don't need CPR !</em></strong></font></h2>
<div class="paragraph" style="text-align:left;display:block;"><font size="3">Wrong !!! - - Cardiac arrests are more common than you think, and they can happen to anyone at any time.<br />Nearly 383,000 out-of-hospital sudden cardiac arrests occur annually, and most occur at home.<br />Many victims appear healthy with no known heart disease or other risk factors.<br />Sudden cardiac arrest is not the same as a heart attack.&nbsp;</font><br /><font size="3">Here are just a few common examples:<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;1. Sudden cardiac arrest occurs when electrical impulses in the heart become rapid or chaotic, which causes the heart to suddenly stop beating.<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; 2. &nbsp;A heart attack occurs when the blood supply to part of the heart muscle is blocked. A heart attack may cause cardiac arrest.</font><br /></div>

<h2 style="text-align:left;"><font size="4" color="#ffff00"><strong><em>How long are the classes ?</em></strong></font></h2>
<div class="paragraph" style="text-align:left;display:block;"><font size="3">We offer many courses both Heartsaver and Health care provider courses. Classes range from 2-8 hours, depending on the type of training needed and the size of your group. Most classes average 3 hours. Please see our course page above.</font><br /></div>

<h2 style="text-align:left;"><font size="4" color="#ffff00"><strong><em>Does your course provide the training&nbsp;equipment ?&nbsp;</em></strong></font></h2>
<div class="paragraph" style="text-align:left;display:block;"><font size="3">YES. We own our equipment and can provide everything for the class. Scheduling a course in advance helps us to accommodate last minute classes or other special circumstances that meet your needs.</font><br /></div>

<h2 style="text-align:left;"><font size="4" color="#ffff00"><strong><em>When will we get our CPR card and how long does the card last ?&nbsp;</em></strong></font><br /></h2>
<div class="paragraph" style="text-align:left;display:block;"><font size="3">Most certifications will be provided the same day. But generally within 5 - 10 business day MAX after your class. Special arrangements can be made to&nbsp;receive&nbsp;your card the day of if the registration form is&nbsp;completed&nbsp;properly and received&nbsp;2 weeks before your class. All cards are good for 2 years and can be renewed.</font><br /></div>

<h2 style="text-align:left;"><font size="4" color="#ffff00"><strong><em>How many people can attend a class ?</em></strong></font></h2>
<div class="paragraph" style="text-align:left;display:block;"><font size="3">We can certify and comfortably&nbsp;accommodate&nbsp;small classes at our lovely NJ Gutenberg location located in the GALAXY condominium towers right on Boulevard East. Or we can provide large groups at our St Micheal's Medical Training center in Newark New Jersey. When there are large groups, we will increase our number of instructors to give that person to person feel.</font><br />We even offer in home, office or house of worship private lessons.<br />Our in home private couples or for the working professionals course is a popular weekend evening package as well. <em>(call for more info)</em></div>

<h2 style="text-align:left;"><font size="4" color="#ffff00"><strong><em>What if I book a class for 10 people and only 6 show up ?&nbsp;</em></strong></font></h2>
<div class="paragraph" style="text-align:left;display:block;"><font size="3">You may change your participant number up to 24 hours before your class. Please note that all classes require a 50% deposit upon booking.</font><br /></div>

<h2 style="text-align:left;"><font size="4" color="#ffff00"><strong><em>What is the method of payment ?</em></strong></font></h2>
<div class="paragraph" style="text-align:left;display:block;">We accept cash, bank certified checks, money orders and most major credit cards. <font color="#ffff00">A 50% deposit is required when scheduling a class</font> and you may pay the balance on the day of your class. We also welcome new &nbsp;business accounts for later payment. We prefer to receive payment in 2 weeks. Special arrangements can be made.<br /></div>
